One week training retreat in Shamanic Embodied Singing and Healing includes
Embodied Voice/ Singing Body practices, based in Voice Movement Therapy and Body Mind Centering™ principles and methods.
Shamanic Community Healing sessions, with guest Network Spinal Awakening Master, Lawrence Conlan and Shamanic Sound Healer Christa Ray with assistance from the entire group. (Each person will receive 3 Shamanic-Network sessions)
Receiving Songs and Healing Vibrations through communion with Nature: Learn a meditative journey method for attuning with the natural world and receiving gifts of "medicine songs" and healing guidance.
Practical Sound Healing methods: Participants will receive personal coaching to develop a tailored healing/creative arts daily practice to integrate the retreat and continue developing their unique artistic and healing gifts.
Ceremonies and Adventure
Including a Ceremony to awaken the Sacred Serpent Energy of Gaia through our bodies with pure sound vibration techniques, breathwork and dance. Ceremony with the Kogi Shamans of Colombia (the famed Earthkeepers)
Optional Adventures: Hiking to swim in waterfalls in the jungle; River Tubing--float on pristine river, view monkeys, wild birds and find our river voices.Close by is Colombia's treasured Parque Tayrona, offering horse back riding through the ancient jungle, hiking to gorgeous beaches to swim in crystal clear ocean waters and trekking to the Lost City. Adventuring into the park can be arranged for before or after the retreat.

Dear Friends,
It has come to my attention that there is still a caution among Americans when considering traveling to Colombia, South America. That is understandable as 15 years ago the country was in a bloody civil war with drug lords terrorizing innocent people. THAT IS ALL OVER, THANK THE GODDESS!! Now, Colombia is the friendliest South America country I've visited (just Peru and Ecuador) as the people are eager to prove, especially to American's, whose government helped to end the drug war, that their country and culture has so so much to offer! Traveling alone, I have had a stranger (a young man) make sure I got a safe taxi ride to my lodging in Bogota, and a taxi driver late at night search for a safe hotel for me when the place I thought I was staying was booked because I showed up a night early. I've had a stranger run after me holding a hat I left behind, and a woman on the plane offer me her pen when she saw me rummaging through my bag looking for one (I guess she was psychic too!) And I met a Colombian woman at my hotel who became my friend. We toured the gorgeous ancient city of Cartagena, went out to the islands to swim in the clear blue Caribbean ocean and went salsa dancing. We communicated through the heart as we didn't share much of each others' language. The people are warm, full of spirit, and so welcoming. I have even more amazing stories of how safe I have felt in Colombia during my past two trips there. (Now, it's true a woman alone would not want to walk at night in certain areas of the big cities, but that is true in many cities around the world.)
