Passionate Ease Retreats

Christa Ray MFA, VMTR, is a teacher, artist, singing shaman, Somato Respiratory Integration practitioner and facilitator of transformational and awakening experiences worldwide.  She has worked as a teacher and SRI practitioner in close partnership with Lawrence Conlan since 2003.

Since her mid-20’s, Christa has been devoted to the path of awakening of Soul into embodiment and has supported hundreds of others to come into the power of their true, authentic voice and Presence.  Her vocal and spiritual awakening began in 1986, through deep mystical chanting experiences, which gave her personal knowledge of the healing and transformational power of the human voice. Since learning about the 12 Stages of Healing and the SRI exercises in the early 90’s she has integrated that coaching work and map of consciousness into a number of the modalities she practices including Shamanic Sound Healing, Reiki, Voice Movement Therapy, Ritual Theater practice and therapeutic singing lessons.  She is one of a handful of Americans fully qualified as a professional Voice Movement Therapist and received her post-graduate diploma from the Royal Society of the Arts in London in 1996. In 2004 she received her Masters degree in Theater: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University in Boulder, CO.

Christa leads Shamanic Singing classes and retreats, Embodied Voice/Singing Body trainings and has a private practice in Therapeutic SongWork and in plant spirit based Shamanic Sound Healing and Mayan Abdominal Massage.
